MP5 Suppressor evaluation After Action Report
This one's a little longer than we like to publish, but there's a lot of info here. In this video series, we ask very experienced shooters to compare the Acadian Armament D9 suppressor to top-tier conventional suppressors recommended for use with the MP5. In this evaluation, a LE agency SWAT armorer and team members familiar and practiced with the MP5 put three suppressors through the wringer on the full and K versions of the MP5. These weapons are Zenith Z-5RS and Z-5P. D9 - The suppressor made for the MP5.

Quiet Spring Configurations FA
Any suppressor will change the performance of a gas-operated weapon. In fact, changing ammo or even simply changing a flash hider, BCG or other components will have an effect on cycling. Many users prefer to "tune" their weapon to the "system" as a whole. This video demonstrates the effect of changing the weight of the buffer system on full-auto cycling rates, blow-back and ejection. The JP QuietSpring can be configured with one, two or three heavy tungsten weights. JP designates those configurations as H1, H2 & H3. The host weapon in the video is a Colt 6920 M4-A1 16" firing 10 rounds of .223 55gr ball ammo. The adjustable gas block was optimized for each condition before filming.
